With Fall coming up, I’m anxiously awaiting all of our trees to turn colors. Every year I wish I could enjoy their color a little longer, but the leaves inevitably end up on the ground. This year I’m determined to preserve them for a little longer. Here are some of my top options on crafts using Fall leaves.
No-Sew Autumn Leaf Bunting
Collect some preserved Fall leaves and wax paper. Combine it all and you’ll create beautiful bunting to put in front of a window to enjoy.
DIY Autumn Leaf Bowl
Don’t plan on putting your cereal in this bowl, but it can beautifully hold some fall treats.
Leaf Mobile
With all of the fall winds, it’s nice to have something hanging on the porch to create some movement like this leaf mobile. Press the leaves and attach them to an embroidery hoop using wax string.
Leaf Light Catcher
Sandwich your leaves between two pieces of contact paper, punch holes around the edge and string the paper onto an embroidery hoop.
Fall Leaf Suncatchers
This is a more kid-friendly alternative to the previous craft.
Paper Punching Leaves
Pull out your scrapbooking tools for this one. Use your paper puncher to punch out the fall-colored leaves. Collect the cuttings and press them in a book to use for later. Or you can use this as confetti or to cover your table with a fall theme.
