Fact or Myth Thanksgiving Napkin Rings (or place setting cards)

Last year we went to a Thanksgiving at a friend’s house and they had such a fun ice breaker at dinner.  She took facts or myths/lies about Thanksgiving and wrote them on a slip of paper and made that the napkin ring (or place setting name card).  You then had to say what it was and whether you thought it was fact or fiction.  You’ll be surprised how informative Thanksgiving dinner can be!

Grateful Rolls

It’s like the Thanksgiving version of fortune cookies.  Have everyone write something they’re thankful for on strips of paper, bake it into a crescent roll and everyone can read out the notes.

Hand Print Tablecloth

Every year, have your kids put a new hand print on your Thanksgiving tablecloth.

Shooting Turkey Game

Grab a dart gun and some balloons.  Give each balloon a different point value.  This will give everyone something fun to do between dinner and dessert… because there needs to be some time to make room for dessert.

Thankful Pumpkins

Grab some fake pumpkins, paint them white and get a few Sharpies.  Give everyone a pumpkin and have them fill their pumpkin with things that they’re thankful for.

Tic Tac Toe

While the adults are cooking and getting ready for dinner, set the kids up at a tale of Tic Tac Toe with mini pumpkins!
