Finally, even if you don’t see a particular business listed, you can ask before you buy if they offer discounts to military personnel and families. You may wind up saving a ton!
How Do I Get A Military Discount?
Each store has its own policies, but typically, bigger retailers require you to show proof to verify your military status by showing your military ID at the time of purchase or by verifying your status with partners such as ID.me, SheerID and Veterans Advantage.

The annual Golden Corral Military Appreciation Night is yearly on Veterans Day. If you are a veteran, retired, or currently serving in the National Guard or Reserves, you are invited to participate in Golden Corral’s Military Appreciation dinner and receive a free “thank you” meal.

Disney has a “great relationship with the military, with all sorts of discounts and deals available,” says Kim. It offers military discounts for Disneyland and military discounts for Walt Disney World. Check out Shades of Green, an Armed Forces Recreation Center that is a partner of Walt Disney World and operated by the U.S. Army.
