What Is Adventures In Odyssey?
The Adventures in Odyssey Club is a subscription-based digital streaming service featuring character-building audio-dramas, videos, and related activities for kids ages 8-12. (But I’ve found that even as an adult, they’re enjoyable!)
Written and produced by Focus on the Family, these engaging stories teach valuable lessons and bring biblical principles to life. This award-winning audio drama series is created for kids, but can be enjoyed by the whole family! These stories are faith-filled, family-friendly, and kid-approved.
Episodes often start with the grandfatherly Mr. Whittaker (“Whit”), who runs an ice cream shop called Whit’s End. They last an average of 25 minutes and have a great balance of fun, faith, and imagination.
Adventures in Odyssey Club membership is family-friendly, with customizable parental controls and age-appropriate content. As club members, kids can connect with each other on closely monitored message boards — to learn and grow in a safe, faith-centered environment.

Why We LOVE Adventures In Odyssey So Much!
My kids have loved the characters, the stories, and the series in Adventures in Odyssey. Not only do they keep you engaged, but they’ve learned so many Biblical truths, historical facts, and character lessons over the years.
I’d say that this is probably one of my older three kids’ very favorite things they’ve shared together over the years. They’ve talked at length about different episodes and characters and even have inside jokes based upon some of the episodes.
We’ve been paying members of the Adventures in Odyssey Club for years and I love that it has been something our kids can share together and enjoy together. For years, they often listened to episodes while playing with LEGOs and always listened to episodes before going to bed. And we have one teen who still does many nights.
The older three are trying really hard to get Kierstyn into listening to it now… and while it’s a little above her level still, I can only imagine it won’t be long before she’s just as big of a fan as they are!
If you’re looking for clean, safe, engaging content for your kids, I encourage you to give Adventures in Odyssey a try! It has provided so much value for our family over the years.
