Okay, so here’s the thing about putting together a snack board: there are no rules! That’s the best thing about making snack boards.
A snack board is basically just a spread of different foods (charcuterie, desserts, dips and spreads, etc.) that is easy for people to grab and eat. I like to display the food on a big, wooden cutting board (see my post for a good way to clean them!), but you can use a platter or tray, too.
They are great for parties, but my favorite way to utilize them is for my family. We do this sometimes as a meal. My kids love getting to choose what foods they eat and the best part is that there aren’t really any dishes at the end.
If you’re putting a snack board together for a meal, make sure to include a variety of foods for the best nutritional value (proteins, carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables, etc.).
