Hello old friends,
Pardon me as I fell off the blogosphere for a little bit there. As you can imagine, life was feeling a bit overwhelming and a few things took a back seat while I did a bit of soul searching, housekeeping and ironed out the kinks in my closet (wink, wink).
Needless to say that I am back and feeling ready to blog. I’ve been keeping things a bit more unfiltered over on my “Basic” Substack page where you will find weekly selfies along with links to everything I’m wearing. I post every Sunday (for free) and an added 1-2 posts each week of my wish lists, collages and screen grabs. So feel free to head over there if you’re looking for more real time shopping posts.
So what’s new on Damsel? Nothing crazy really. You’ll find a weekly post here that’s the same editorial look and feel as I have always done. You’ll be seeing shopping round-ups, curated style hauls, beauty favorites and more.
Let’s get started with this week, featuring easy, elevated black wardrobe styles that I think are worth adding to your closest.
When in doubt, black always wins. If you find yourself stumped on what to wear, take the stress out of dressing and make things easy with a classic black staple ensemble and dress it up or down with accessories and shoes.
I’m wearing the Coco Cardigan by Almada the Label in the above photo with a lace bodysuit underneath for a gals night in Chicago. It’s very warm so warning. I love it so much I ordered another one in cream.
