As if the Eras tour and concert movie weren’t enough, Swifties have yet another thing to add to their wish lists: Tickets on a Taylor Swift-themed cruise.
Here’s what to know and how to book (as you know, anything Taylor Swift-themed has a way of selling out).
What is the Taylor Swift Cruise?
This cruise is not affiliated with Taylor Swift. It’s a fan-led four-night themed cruise through Royal Caribbean (Allure of the Seas) being planned by Marvelous Mouse Travels, a travel agency made up of three travel agents (and Swift fans). So, basically, you’ll be booking a room aboard a Royal Caribbean ship and then have loads of Taylor Swift-themed events onboard, including friendship bracelet swaps, costume parties and much more.
The boat sails on Oct. 21, 2024 (aka the “Midnights” release anniversary) from Miami, and the ports of call will be Coco Cay and Nassau.
How Do I Book the Taylor Swift Cruise
Go to this site to book. You can’t book directly with Royal Caribbean. Instead, you’ll select the room you want on this page and hit “Request.” The organizers of the event will then book you, space permitting. Note that the Boardwalk Balcony rooms are already sold out.
How Much Does The Taylor Swift Cruise Cost?
Costs depend on the room you book (for a limited time, you can get a $100 onboard credit):
- Interior room (2 guests): $1,573
- Boardwalk Balcony (2 guests): $1,851
- Oceanview balcony (2 guests): $1,967
That’s more than the usual costs of rooms aboard the Allure of the Seas. The regular four-night Allure of the Seas Royal Caribbean Cruise for Oct. 21, 2024, with the same ports of call will run you $518, a room with an outside view $658, and a balcony room $699, according to Royal Caribbean’s site. However, much of the “extra” cost of the Eras Cruise bookings will be going toward the programming (and the site makes it clear that, if you try to book a regular room on the same boat but NOT book directly through the Eras Cruise organizers, you won’t be able to take part in the Taylor Swift events.
