RMN: Tell us a bit about yourself

I am a 24-year-old content creator, actress and singer living in Brooklyn, NY! I was born in Houston, TX, but my family is from Argentina and Spain, and I graduated from UT Austin with a BSA in Nutrition. I currently make content on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest, all encompassing self love, self care and life in NYC. I’ve also slowly started incorporating some content involving my life working on acting! I love to bake, read, hang outside and spend time with my family!

RMN: How did you get into the lifestyle space?

I started off creating content about nutrition and wellness, mainly helping an audience of people who were trying to heal their relationship with food — I was sharing my own journey during that time as well! Slowly, as I began working on self love and grew through that process, I incorporated more and more of my life into my videos and photos. At the time I was in college, so this meant showing a lot of morning routines, class days, study habits and mainly just staying healthy during my time at university. Now, I’ve shifted to showcasing my lifestyle living in NYC! I try to create content that includes everything I’m going through at the time, which means I often incorporate health-related obstacles, new things I’ve learned within my hobbies and places I’ve explored in NYC.

RMN: Any tips for preparing and budgeting for the busy gifting season?

I am huge on saving money, I always have been and hope to continue to be! Every month, I make sure I’m saving a bit — if you don’t have the means to save a lot, even $5–$10 per week builds up over time! The way I save is for every paycheck I receive, a certain percentage I hold for taxes, and a certain percentage I set aside in my “rainy day fund.” In my mind, that money does not even exist as an option to spend.

I think also releasing the idea that we have to be saving a significant amount every month makes it a lot easier. One trick I like is to set a budget for “miscellaneous” spending. For every purchase I make that goes over that set amount, I have to put the same amount into my savings account. This is one of the best ways to not only stop yourself from spending, but also if you spend, you save too! I have lots of little tactics I like to use, but those are just a couple to get you started on budgeting before gifting season.

As for the purchases DURING the holiday season, make sure you’re buying decor that you can and will use for multiple years going forward, set a budget for gifts between friends and family so nobody goes over, and focus on finding great deals online before shopping in store — November and December have become great months for sales online!

RMN: Why do you love CVS Photo as a gifting option?

I think that CVS Photo is not only a great quality product, but it makes for a very efficient and quick gifting option if you’re running behind, if you need a last minute gift or if you simply want to get your gifts done early this year! There’s honestly nothing better than a thoughtful and personalized holiday gift, so giving the gift of photos and memories is one of my favorite ways to show my loved ones I care deeply for them.

RMN: What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?

I will never forget when my dad gave me some concert tickets as a gift. These were not just any concert tickets, they were One Direction concert tickets! I had missed them when they came to Houston due to a school conflict and was devastated that I wasn’t able to go enjoy my nosebleed seats (I would’ve sat outside of the concert venue and sang along with the echoes of the audience for One Direction at this point in my life). My dad was a huge concert-goer himself and knew how much it meant to be to see them live, so he surprised me with two tickets to the San Antonio show, and the best part: he was going to attend the concert with me!

We drove to San Antonio from Houston right after school on the day of the concert — about 4 hours on the road — and made it just in time for the opening act. We walked into the venue and my dad guided me to our section. I was so confused as to why he was walking me toward the floor seats! He walked me all the way to the second row of the venue and I started bawling crying right then and there (which continued through the concert, of course). Not only was the concert such an amazing surprise for me, but the fact that my dad gave me the gift of his attendance to a One Direction concert was the best gift ever! We had so much fun, and yes, he sang all the words to the songs, too!
