Update (Nov. 10): Home Depot has updated its site with a banner saying that the TikTok-viral Grand Duchess Balsam Fir tree is going to be restocked “soon.” No exact word on what “soon” means. The banner’s been there for a few days, and we suggest checking stock daily.

How to Get the Home Depot Grand Duchess Balsam Fir in Stock
We have to warn you, like Skelly, The Home Depot’s 12-ft. tall skeleton and Lewis, the giant pumpkin-headed ghoul from Target that became TikTok-famous this Halloween, the Grand Duchess Balsam Fir is selling out, thanks to its TikTok fame.
In fact, we noticed it was unavailable for delivery OR pickup near us the other day:
Here’s how to try to find it in stock:
- Check stock here, and check back frequently. You might luck out.
- Update your ZIP code to see availability at nearby stores. You might have to drive a longer distance than you’d like. These days, however, even driving 100 miles might not be enough.
3. Try your luck in the secondary market. We’re seeing some availability at eBay and Mercari (but for $800 or more PLUS $100 or more in shipping). You’ll have to decide if you really want this tree this badly.
It’s important to note that not all versions of the Grand Duchess Balsam Fir tree will be available at every The Home Depot location, and may be out of stock online off-and-on leading up until Dec. 25.
