Who doesn’t love a good snack? My kids sometimes seem to want to eat all day, but I don’t want them eating cookies and chips all day. Over the years I’ve come up with some healthy appetizer and snack recipes that are now part of our family’s regular snack routine. We also sometimes have a dinner night where we only make appetizer foods, and many of these get made on those nights!
These are all homemade, so you can control and adjust the ingredients (for example, the keto sausage balls are made with almond flour, but you can totally use regular flour if you have a nut allergy or don’t need it to be low carb). Best of all, most of them can be made with ingredients you already have in your pantry. It may be a little more work than opening up a bag of chips, but you won’t regret making the effort! Homemade food always ends up filling us up more, even if it takes slightly more time.
