In fact, the Nordy Club is one of the best ways to save money at Nordstrom.

What Is the Nordy Club?
Nordstrom’s Nordy Club is Nordstrom’s free-to-join rewards program. Any United States resident who is 18 or older can join The Nordy Club for free. Sign up for Nordy Club online or in a store by supplying your email address, cell phone number, and first and last name. You don’t have to provide a credit card number, nor do you have to be a Nordstrom credit card or debit card holder to sign up for the Nordy Club.
Members of the Nordy Club get access to special events and points for purchases that can be turned into Nordstrom Notes and redeemed when shopping in person or online at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom Local. Members earn one point for each $1 spent at Nordstrom (some restrictions apply) and Nordstrom credit and debit card holders earn two points for every $1 spent. There are also certain special bonus points days and other ways to earn more.
How Do You Join the Nordstrom Rewards Program?
Joining the Nordy Club is simple, fast and free, but be aware it’s a three-step process. Join here with your email address. Then you’ll be taken to a second page to enter your full name and choose a secure password. The last page asks for a mobile number. That’s it!
What are the Nordy Club Membership Tiers?
Nordy Club has four tiers of membership, one of which is open only to Nordstrom credit card holders.
Member
This is the Nordy Club entry-level tier. At this level, your Nordy Club membership gives you 1 point for each $1 spent, free basic alterations on items purchased at Nordstrom stores and online, invites to lifestyle workshops (Nordstrom says you’ll “learn about the latest trends in style, entertaining and more” at them), early access to a periodic Nordstrom Rack sales event Clear the Rack and a handy place to store all your information in one convenient place. When you log in to your Nordy Club account, you’ll be able to track, manage and return purchases, save your favorite brands and the sizes you shop, create wish lists, manage your payments and access customer service.
Influencer
Anyone with a Nordstrom credit card is automatically granted Influencer status, as is anyone who spends $500 per calendar year. In addition to all the perks available at the Member tier, Influencers also get three personal double points days each year and access and priority booking to Nordstrom style events.
Ambassador
Spend $5,000 or more per year and you’re moved up to the Ambassador tier. Benefits only available at this tier include four personal double points days each year, entrance to invite-only events like the Nordstrom holiday party, and one free Nordstrom To You styling appointment and one free Nordstrom To You closet consultation each year. This cool service sends a stylist and alterations expert to your home, hotel or office (so long as it is located within 15 miles of selected Nordstrom stores) to help you choose new looks, pair down what isn’t working, and make sure things are fitting properly.
Icon
Big spenders who drop $15,000 and have a Nordstrom credit card become Icons. The Icon tier comes with all sorts of fantastic perks, from special Icon-only events, dining and spa experiences, unlimited free alterations, same-day delivery in New York City and no Nordstrom credit card fees.
How Do You Maintain Your Nordstrom Rewards Plan Status Level?
Spend the minimum by Dec. 31 of each year to maintain your status. Points are granted on net spend, meaning, the brand explains, “the purchase amount after returns, discounts, taxes and any amounts redeemed in Nordstrom Notes or Nordstrom Gift Cards have been deducted.”
If from one year to the next your spending drops, no big deal! On January 1, you will be moved into your new correct tier. So if you were an Ambassador one year, but only spent $600 the following year, you’ll be placed into the Influencer tier. You won’t lose your points or Notes.
How to Earn Nordy Club Rewards
Just like any other membership plan you’re enrolled in, you need to be signed in to your Nordy Club account online in order to earn rewards points, or if you’re shopping at a store, let the sales staff know that you’re a Nordy Club member. (Typically your cell phone number is your Nordy Club member number, but Nordstrom says you can always call them if you’re not sure at 1.888.282.6060.)
Members earn one point for each $1 spent at Nordstrom while Nordstrom credit and debit card holders earn two points for every $1 spent. There are occasional promotional events where you can temporarily earn more points for each $1 spent.
Earning 1,000 points gets you a $10 Note which can be used on a Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack or Nordstrom Local in store or online purchase. Notes cannot be redeemed for cash.
How to Redeem the Nordy Club Rewards
If your Notes are digital, let the salesperson at the store know you’re a Nordy Club member so they can look you up and apply your notes to your purchase. If you have a paper Note, simply hand it over. Online, so long as you’ve linked your Nordy Club account to your Nordstrom.com or Nordstromrack.com account and you’re signed in, your Notes should appear at the checkout. Paper Notes can be redeemed online, too, by entering the Note number and access code.
How Do You Check Your Nordy Club Points Balance?
Nordstrom will email you each month with your points balance, any available Nordstrom Notes and the number of points needed to earn your next Nordstrom Note. You can also check your balance anytime by hopping online or ask a salesperson to check for you when you’re in a store next.
Do Nordy Club Rewards Expire?
Yes. If your Nordy Club account has had no activity for 12 consecutive months, all your points expire.
Is there a Nordy Club App?
No, there is no separate Nordy Club app, there are just the Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack apps. You can also access your membership online at Nordstrom.com or Nordstromrack.com.
Can You Use the Nordy Club at Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom Local?
Yes. The Nordy Club membership also applies to Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom Local shoppers, in stores and online.
Can You Cancel Your Nordy Club Membership?
