If summer is the season for grilling, then fall and winter are the seasons for delicious holiday treats. There are so many opportunities to create incredible themed desserts and drinks, everything from cookies, cakes, and pies to hot chocolate, coffee drinks, cocktails, mocktails and much, much more!

But with so many holiday recipes calling for sugar, maintaining your health goals can be difficult. That’s why whenever I’m whipping up something yummy for a holiday party or pot-luck get-together, I like to swap out traditional sugar for Truvia® Sweeteners in my favorite recipes.

For all of us who are trying to cut calories and sugar, Truvia® makes it easy to enjoy all those holiday favorites. With Truvia® Sweet Complete® sweeteners you get sweetness without sugar AND zero calories per serving!

Truvia® Sweet Complete® is sweetened with stevia and used just like sugar. So if your recipe calls for a cup of sugar, just use a cup of Truvia® Sweet Complete® Granulated All-Purpose Sweetener instead. And if your recipe calls for brown sugar grab a bag of Truvia® Sweet Complete® Brown. It measures cup-for-cup like brown sugar and has zero calories per serving.

That is so important in my world. After all, when I am making a recipe the last thing I want to do is try deal with edits or modifications. I love that there’s no conversion charts or guessing how much to use. Truvia® Sweet Complete® Sweeteners measure, bake and sweeten just like sugar.

So when it’s time to pull out those classic recipes you love, Truvia® makes it easy to reduce sugar while keeping all the flavor.

Speaking of classic recipes, a Rustic Apple Tart is a fall staple here at my house. There’s something about a warm, fresh-baked tart that definitely puts me in an autumn state of mind. It’s one of my favorite desserts because you don’t have to worry about it looking perfect. In fact, the messy, rustic appearance just adds to the charm of the dish.

You only need a few ingredients to whip up a crowd-pleasing treat that will be the perfect end to any holiday meal.
