If you don’t know what to buy and you love the Black Friday game of scoring coveted things for less, here’s what to add to your list.
We looked at our data (the transactions shoppers are making and the products they’re searching for on our sites) as well as Google’s search trends data and intel on what’s selling out already to see which deals Black Friday shoppers are adding to their carts and which items are being deal-hunted the most. This list should also be helpful in making your game plan because these things are also likely to sell out, so you’ll need to act fast if you want them.
A Couple things before you get started:
1. Activate any and all cash back offers at stores you’ll be shopping — that way, you’ll automatically earn a percentage BACK of what you spend.

Trending Items for Black Friday 2023
Apple Product Black Friday Deals
Black Friday is when the prices on pricey things come down. And that makes it a sweet spot for nabbing Apple products on sale. Apple itself has a gift cards-with-purchase event, but plenty of retailers (Best Buy, Target, Walmart) are offering actual discounts on iPads, AirPods and more. PS 5 Console Black Friday Deals
This console’s been out since 2020, and you probably remember how hard it was to get. This year, it’s still popular enough that, even though people are searching high and low for PS5 discounts, they won’t find any discounts on the sticker price (at least not yet). However, you can find discounted bundles (console and other freebies, like games, thrown in so that you’re still getting a deal). This year’s best deal is the PS5 Modern Warfare III bundle, coupled with game download ($60 value) for the regular sticker price of the PS5 ($499.99).
Black Friday Deals on Monitors
With working from home still being the norm in many jobs, many are searching for deals on computer monitors. Whether the monitor you got at the beginning of the pandemic just doesn’t have the resolution you’d like, or you’re improving your gaming setup, plenty of deals are out there. PCMag has rounded up some of the best. For a budget-friendly option, go for this LG 24-inch monitor, which is $79.99 (that’s $90 off) at Best Buy. It’s great for home offices, given its lightweight sleek design.
Black Friday Streaming Deals
Stream-flation has plagued shoppers in 2023 (exhibit A; exhibit B), which has consumers considering which services (and monthly bills) to cut. Or … maybe there’s another option; we’re seeing a lot of shoppers seeking out streaming deals. And services are meeting them where they’re at with 70% to 80% off the monthly cost for a VERY long time (six months to a year). These are solid deals for consumers who want to pare down their streaming bills in the new year (and a savvy move from the services, which surely hope these subscribers just might forget to cancel after their discounted period). Check out Hulu’s deal for 99 cents per month for a YEAR and Peacock’s deal for $1.99 per month.
Black Friday Deals on Really Big TVs
One way to tell a deal is popular is if it’s already selling out. And we’re noticing that some of the first deals to dwindle in stock are really big TVs — we’re talking 70 inches and up. One of the first sell-outs of Black Friday 2023 was Target’s deal on a 70-inch TV (just $299.99). You can still get Walmart’s deal on a 75-inch set, though (we suspect not for long). And Amazon’s deal (yes, it’s still over $4,000, but it’s $3,000 OFF) on a 100-inch screen is reading “low in stock” the day before Thanksgiving. Just a few years ago, screens this size were luxury purchases, but this year shoppers are leaping over the wimpy 50-inch sets and going big. See our favorite Black Friday TV deals.
Espresso Machine Black Friday Deals
Our site visitors are after espresso makers this year. The espresso maker might even be 2023’s air fryer. Formerly popular kitchen gadgets from Black Fridays of yore (pressure cookers and air fryers) are facing market saturation, and the baking craze that caused all of KitchenAid’s mixers to sell out during Black Friday 2020 and 2021 is no more. But fancy countertop appliances seems to have some steam left — this year, shoppers want to have the ability to make barista-quality drinks at home. Perhaps their girl math is telling them this will save them money over time, and fancy caffeinated beverages are technically free when you froth the milk at home.
Loads of espresso makers are on sale this year, and they can get pretty pricey. We like this 30% off deal on Amazon for the Mr. Coffee Espresso and Cappuccino Machine (now $159.99).
Black Friday Deals on the Dyson Airwrap
Searches for Dyson Airwrap deals are trending up and up, and it’s no wonder why. This styling tool is $600 and it almost never goes on sale. Black Friday shoppers are in LUCK, though, because after a few years of tiny discounts on this thing, retailers are offering $100 off ($120 off in Amazon’s case, when you apply the $19 coupon). Xbox Series X Black Friday Deals
Another deal that is threatening to sell out, is $50 off the Xbox Series X. It’s the first time we’ve seen this console discounted, and Target’s even throwing in a free $75 gift card when you buy it. We’re seeing various bundles of this console blink to “non available” for shipping and at stores near us the day before Thanksgiving. While the console is several years old at this point, $50 is a sold discount and a $75 Target gift card on top of that sweetens the deal.
