This Week’s Savings Spotlight: Aimee’s Shoe Steal!
Check out the deal Aimee scored on Under Armour shoes! Wow!
My 11 year old son has been needing a new pair of tennis shoes and I’ve been waiting on a good deal. This week Under Armour had a deal so I jumped online, after Money Saving Mom posted there was a sale, to check to see if they had the size we needed. We were in luck! I also grabbed a new pair for our 6 year old whose shoes are wearing down also. I was able to get free shipping and both pairs for a little over $61 after tax!
Psst! This Under Armour shoe deal is still available!
More Reader Savings From This Week!
We had several other great submissions from readers who scored great deals on meat, linens, and fruit snacks. Check them out below!
Jessica got a great deal on ground beef:
Recently my local Acme was having a sale on ground beef $3.50 a pound. I went in to get some and most had a a sell by date for the next day, and an additional 50% off. I grabbed what I could and went back a few days later and they were doing the same thing. We are well stocked on ground beef for a while, but for $1.75 a pound I had to stock up.
Rachel found an amazing mark down on linens:
I happened upon a large selection of high end linens at our local Thrift Store this week: organic cotton sheets, curtains and linen bed covers. It was half price day as well, so according to my Google research I saved more than 90% off retail and they are all brand new.
Morgan scored a deal on Annie’s fruit snacks:
I recently got two 42-packs of Annie’s organic fruit snacks for just $4.38 each on Amazon!
Charlotte has taken advantage of meat markdowns to save a lot:
Thought I would shoot a deal I’ve been doing on a consistent basis. Lately, I’ve been combining turkey meat with hamburger. I only buy ground turkey meat on sale now. I bought two packs of ground turkey meat Buy One, Get One Free today at Ingles. So I paid about $2.50 each pack. Then I placed the combined meat in freezer bags according to how much I would put in one dish. I got three freezer bags of combined meat (from 1lb. of turkey meat combined with about 3/4ths a pound of hamburger meat.) I’ll do the same thing with the other turkey pack.
Thank you so much to these readers for sharing your savings with our community! How inspiring!!
