You Want Taylor Swift’s Chiefs Puffer Coat. But Can You Actually Buy It?

2 min

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes made (another) fashion statement at the Chiefs vs. Dophins game this past weekend with their enviable puffer jackets sporting the numbers and names of their respective beloveds, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.

It’s not surprising that everyone now wants these jackets. They’re so much warmer than your basic jersey and so much more stylish than the existing letterman jackets and windbreakers that you can buy through official NFL channels. You’d gladly hand over ALL your money for such a jacket. So where can you get your hands on it? There’s been some confusion on social media (due to the Nike logo on the coat) that it’s available somewhere to buy.

More About That Puffer Coat

The coat was not store-bought; it was custom made. Specifically, it was custom made by Kristin Juszczyk, who showed how she made the coats on Instagram by slicing and dicing some jerseys (hence the visible Nike logo) and lining them for warmth. Juszczyk is a fashion designer (and the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk).

So Can You Buy the Chiefs Puffer Coat Taylor Wore?

Unlike other readily available fashion items Tayor has worn to Chiefs games, this coat isn’t simply purchased from a retailer. Considering the coat was a custom job, no – you cannot go to a store and buy it. In fact, NFL jersey-style puffer coats are not something you can find anywhere. We know, we know. You can contact Kristin Juszczyk through her website to ask, but her inbox is probably very full (not to mention the legalities of cutting up trademarked jerseys and selling them to the general public).

We are hoping the NFL sees this puffer coat for the golden opportunity it is — a chance to work with Juszczyk make lots of money on licensed coats that women actually want to wear. There’s tons of demand for coats like this, if the comments on Juszczyk’s Instagram posts are any indication (even Taylor Lautner wants this coat):

If such a coat becomes available, we’ll be the first to tell you about it (and the first in line to buy it).
